About Costs

-Registration Fee-

You may wonder why child cares charge annual registration fees.  I hear this a lot! This is what it pays for:

  • My time creating my policies

  • Printer paper

  • Ink

  • Interview time

  • Ensuring registration is complete

  • Filing

  • Admin costs

  • Ensuring a general space --being licensed means I cannot go over capacity.

-Daily Costs-

You may wonder why child cares are so "high" in cost. I get asked a this question from time and I am happy to answer that.

I get it. Paying constant childcare fees can be very hard on your budget. It would be great to set your own pay for the hard work you do.  That's what I do :)

This is what it pays for:

  • Play materials. Kids go through glue like crazy!

  • Hygiene materials. Same goes for soap!

  • USDA-approved meals.

  • Extra electricity, garbage, and water.

  • A space for your child

  • Admin time for billing, social media, curriculum research and prep, shopping.  There is up to 12 hours with children, plus evening and weekend work.

  • Trips to the store

  • Training costs

  • Space for your child for particular days

  • A provider with a lot of experience, credentials, and expertise.

  • And, of course, safety, well-being, and happiness of your child.
